Sagamore is All-Inclusive

  • 2 nights lodging, all meals in our historic Vanderbilt Dining Hall, historic tour of the family's guest & workers' complexes, water sports on secluded Sagamore Lake, lawn games, bowling, campfires, and miles of hiking & biking trails in the 3,500 acre Historic Great Camps Special Management Area 
  • Wine & beer is for sale in the office until 6 pm
  • Check-in at 4pm on day of arrival 
  • Check-out by 10am on day of departure - but you are welcome to stay for one last paddle or hike!


Registration Overview

  • First, choose your lodging preferences. To view our lodging options visit our lodging page. Buildings that are not shown are sold out.
  • Then, choose the number in your party and fill in all of their information.
  • Then, let us know if you will room with a friend that registered separately.
  • Then, let us know the dietary restrictions of your entire party. This is necessary for the kitchen to know well in advance.
  • Finally, enter your billing information and review our cancellation policy.


Please Note 

  • Full vaccination during Great Camp Sagamore's 2022 season is required for all program participants who are eligible for vaccinations. You must upload the vaccination card for each individual in your party in order to register for any Great Camp Sagamore program, or send them via email to office@greatcampsagamore.org. 
  • In keeping with our status as a wilderness retreat, there is no cell phone service at Great Camp Sagamore. WiFi is available in the Collins Building only and is accessible to all guests in the building's guest lounge.
  • Sagamore is an 18-acre wilderness campus with gravel paths, dirt roads, and stairs leading into all buildings. There are no elevators. Sagamore is not wheelchair accessible.
  • All accommodations are within historic buildings. There is no air conditioning. There are no mini-fridges, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers, or televisions in the bedrooms. We do provide a large guest refrigerator to store extra food or beverages.

Registration & Lodging. First choose your preferred lodging option, and then indicate the number of people in your party.

  • Private room with a shared hallway bath in the Collins Building, the former laundry. Most rooms have 2 single beds. Groups over 2 will be split into nearby but separate rooms. Children must room with at least one adult.

  • Private room with semi-private bath shared with 1-2 rooms in Wigwam. Most rooms have 2 single beds. Groups over 2 will be split into nearby but separate rooms. Children must room with at least one adult.

  • Private room with private bath in Wigwam. This room has one double bed, and the en-suite bathroom has only a tub. Children must room with at least one adult.

  • Private room with semi-private bath shared with 1-2 rooms in the Main Lodge, home to the Vanderbilt Family. Most rooms have 2 single beds. Groups over 2 will be split into nearby but separate rooms. Children must room with at least one adult.

  • Private room with private bath in the Main Lodge, home to the Vanderbilt Family. Most rooms have 2 single beds. Groups over 2 will be split into nearby but separate rooms. Children must room with at least one adult.

  • One of three cabins built by Margaret Emerson for her children. George's is split into two private rooms. Left: Private room with 4 single beds and en-suite bath. Both sides of the cabin may be reserved for groups of 5 to 7 based on availability.

Please upload your primary registrant's vaccine card here. Others can be emailed to [email protected] or it can be shown upon arrival for the weekend. Vaccines are MANDATORY for this weekend for all participants in your group.

Payment may be made in full or by a 35% deposit. Reservations are secured only once the 35% non-refundable deposit is received by Great Camp Sagamore. The balance is due 30 days before the program start date and your card will be automatically billed for the remainder of the program cost on that date. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the event/program start date will be charged the deposit fee of 35%; any additional amounts paid will be refunded in the form of payment. There are no refunds after 30 days prior to the program start date. No-shows will be charged the full event/program fee.
